Lora Zommer represents clients in guardianships, conservatorships, and probate administrations. She also represents clients in estate planning, special needs planning, and related advocacy efforts. She particularly enjoys guiding clients through Probate Court proceedings and facilitating communication with MassHealth, the Social Security Administration, and other public benefits programs.
Prior to attending law school at the University of New Mexico, Lora worked with seniors in various long-term care settings for more than 25 years, most recently serving as an Executive Director of independent and assisted living communities in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, and New Mexico.
Lora is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Massachusetts Bar Association. She is on the board of directors of the Daggett Crandall Newcomb Home in Norton, Massachusetts, where she began senior caregiving as a dietary aide when she was in high school.
