Gerber, the baby products company now a subsidiary of Nestlé Group with the famous Gerber Baby logo, began an annual baby photo contest in 2010, each year choosing that year’s “Gerber Baby.” This year they’ve chosen Lucas Warren, a 1-year-old from Dalton, Georgia. His mother, Cortney, told the Today Show: “He’s very outgoing and never meets a stranger. He loves to play, loves to laugh and loves to make other people laugh.”
Lucas is the first Gerber Baby to have Down Syndrome. You can see him here.
Even a crusty old curmudgeon law professor like me thinks he’s adorable! Hats off to Gerber for affirming the value of family and our special needs kids.
